Lately, every time I go to LittleKuriboh's profile on youtube, I notice that there are more and more messages from people either pretending to be LK or harassing him and the users who subscribe to his videos. I have also noticed that fans then reply to these harassing messages, turning LK's profile into a place to harass and argue with others instead of a place to leave honest feedback on videos. This problem has continued to get bigger and bigger and I think now is the time to put it to an end.

Harassment

Most people do not realize this, but online harassment IS ILLEGAL. If you are being harassed on the internet, you have legal rights to sue the one who's harassing you. The line between opinion and harassment is very gray. However, these people on youtube have gone beyond simply stating their opinion on their profile. By posting message after message on LK's profile and the profiles of those who subscribe to him, these people have stepped over the line and what they are doing is now harassment. This harassment has become a very serious issue. Not only are people's feelings being hurt, but it is cluttering up profiles and taking away from the true purpose of youtube. Youtube is a place for people to share their work and receive honest feedback about it. Youtube was not meant to be a place where people feel threatened or to be harassed for the things they create. It's time for everyone who feels this has gone too far to stand up and put a stop to it. If you see someone harassing LK (or anyone else!), do not reply on LK's profile or lower yourself to the one who is harassing's level by posting on their profile. Simply and silently click the link above to file a complaint against them. LK has over 30,000 subscribers. If we all get together and report these people, just think of what we could change!! If you harass people, beware: Youtube takes reports of harassment very seriously.

Remember

Reporting these people may or may not get them deleted or suspended. These people clearly have no life and have become completely obsessed with trying to harass LK and take credit for his videos. There is a good chance that if their account is suspended they will simply create a new account and continue harassing others. THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. However, until youtube comes up with a way to permanently stop imposters and harassment, reporting them is the only way to get our message across.

If you file a report, be sure to fill in all the information you can. Give examples of the things these people have said and if they have harassed you as well, be sure to include what they said. The more information we can give youtube about the problem, the better! Try not to report the same person more than once. Reporting them once (or once a month if you really feel you must report them again) should be enough.

The people doing all of this think that all attention is good attention, so we are not going to give them even more attention by posting their names on here.
